RFF (RF First) Resurfacing is an advanced, safe ablative technology that rejuvenates the face and neck, and provides a youthful look with minimal discomfort and downtime. The treatments are targeted towards wrinkles, fine lines, skin tightening, and skin resurfacing, including the improved appearance of scars.

During treatment the RFF Resurfacing technology emits brief pulses of electrical currents through cone-shaped electrodes that slide into the epidermis to form pinhead-sized spots. This creates micro-wounds which trigger the body’s natural wound-healing mechanism, and prompts the production of new, healthy and younger-looking skin, by stimulating collagen and elastin production.

Other systems are painful due to the mechanical insertion of electrodes. By contrast, our technology utilizes RF energy together with the penetration of the electrodes, resulting in almost painless skin resurfacing procedure.

For Best Outcome

We recommend 3-4 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. Another tip- always wear sunscreen.

Gradual and cumulative improvement of skin tone and texture is typically achieved in 3-4 treatment sessions. The total number of required treatments sessions depends on your skin’s condition. Schedule a consultation to establish your personalized treatment schedule.

Tri-Fractional Skin Resurfacing is an effective treatment for most skin types. This treatment is great for clients with post-acne scars, enlarged pores, and overall improvement in skin texture.

Clients may feel a little discomfort when treating delicate areas. After treatment a pink or red “sunburn” appearance is also common. An intensive moisture mask is applied right after to remove 80% of the redness and to give the skin an immediate boost of hydration.

For the first 24 hours, your skin may feel sun burnt and appear a bit red. No makeup or creams can be used on the skin, with the exception of specific post procedure products.

Pre & Post Treatment Instructions:

Pre-Treatment

  • No sun exposure for 3 weeks prior to treatment.
  • No alcohol consumption 24 hours pre and post treatment.
  • Do not use deodorant, serums, moisturizers or self tanning lotions or sprays before treatment.
  • You may take a mild pain reliever such as Tylenol prior to treatment (NO ADVIL OR ASPIRIN).
  • Avoid use of Retinol, and AHA’s for 1-week pre and post treatment.

  • No alcohol consumption 24 hours pre and post treatment.
  • Avoid exfoliation for 48 hours post treatment, may use mild exfoliant after that.
  • Do not pick at or scratch any dark lesions that appear, as this is your pigment rising to the surface which may feel a little crusty. It should slough off naturally.
  • You may continue your regular skin care regime prescribed by your skin care professional post treatment.
  • Avoid use of Retinol, and AHA’s for 1-week pre and post treatment.
  • Be sure to wear SPF everyday post treatment.
  • Avoid exercise, saunas, hot tubs.
  • Avoid sunbeds, and strong sunlight for 72 hours post treatment and then use of SPF 30 or more on treated area is imperative.
