What is dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is an exfoliation facial treatment that uses a surgical blade to remove dead skin and peach fuzz. Dermaplaning helps to remove the effects of sun damage, reduce signs of ageing, diminish hyperpigmentation, brightens dull skin and exfoliates the skin. Dermaplaning is completely pain free with no recovery time.

For best outcome:

It’s best to avoid exfoliating your skin 3 days before and 3 days after. You should also try to avoid direct sunlight tanning. There’s no downtime needed to let your skin heal. We recommend using a broad-spectrum sunscreen of at least SPF 30 and a moisturizer afterward. That’s because your skin may be more sensitive.

When can I expect to see results?

You may notice that your skin looks brighter immediately after the treatment, but it often takes a few days to appreciate the full results. As any redness subsides, you will be able to see the results more clearly in a few days afterward.

Is Dermaplaning right for me?

Dermaplaning isn’t recommended if you have inflammatory skin conditions such as:

  • Acne / Rosacea / Psoriasis / Eczema / Sunburn
  • Not for people with coarse facial hair or raised legions on their skin.

Does it hurt?

Dermaplaning is not painful and is a gentler form of exfoliation.

This treatment doesn’t require any downtime for recovery, which makes it extremely convenient.
